Freemasonry is based on promoting a sense of brotherhood among people. According to its principles, one who fights for good causes is the real hero. So, becoming a Freemason is noble sentiment. The fraternity has no monetary benefits; though it gives you something more precious than what money can buy.

No one from the temple is going to insist you for membership. It’s your own wish whether you want to join or not. If you want to become a Freemason, just visit a freemasonry temple and ask for membership. Those who are willing to join masonic must fulfill the following requirements:

You cannot be an atheist.
You should have a benevolent approach to help the needy.
The minimum age required to join masonic is 21 years.
Since freemasonry is a male fraternity, you must be a male to join.
After becoming a Freemason, you are supposed to attend regular lodge meetings.

Once you submit your application to join masonic, you’ll get a receipt from an examiner board. You’ll be asked a few questions about your life. While at the same time, other members in the board will vote for you in a positive or negative fashion. If they find you to be a favorable candidate, you can join masonic in good spirits.
